Castle Forbes, Aberdeenshire

Castle Forbes - Aberdeenshire

Castle Forbes, built in 1815 by the 17th Lord Forbes - Scotland’s premier lord - is now the family home of his great-great-great grandson Malcolm, the Master of Forbes and his wife Jinny.

There is a tennis court and boating pond beside the castle; and guests can wander over peaceful acres of parkland or along the many wooded tracks on the estate that afford spectacular views of Bennachie and the River Don, a wide variety of wildlife and two ancient stone circles can be seen.

There is also the world’s smallest private perfumery that Jinny has created in the former dairy building, giving you an opportunity to sample the Castle Forbes Collection of fine fragrances and toiletries.

Castle Forbes is not a hotel - Malcolm and Jinny will welcome you personally and invite you to join the family and enjoy the unique experience of Scottish heritage and hospitality.

Accommodation for up to 8 people; 4 twin/double, two of which are en-suite.

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast £170.00 per person per night (drinks included with dinner).
